Seán works with various Italian- and English-language publishers and literary agencies, and has had his work published in various publications, one of which won the Oran Robert Perry Burke Award for Translation 2025. He was the 2024 NCW Emerging Translator Mentee for Italian. He is also Editor for Milano Cortina 2026, and provides foreign rights consultancy. He was a member of the committee for the Emerging Translators Network, and was a non-executive member on the board of the Poetry School. Seán has attended the Warwick Translates Summer School, completed various courses at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Londra and the Poetry School, and he particated in the BCLT Advanced Italian-English Literary Translation Workshop in November 2025. He is currently learning Irish.
